As I begin my journey into neurology, I vow to approach each patient with both scientific curiosity and human compassion.
I will listen fully, knowing that healing begins not only with diagnosis but with being seen and heard.
I will offer comfort where there is fear, clarity where there is confusion, and hope where there is doubt.
I will treat not just the conditions of the brain, but the person living within it.
Honoring their story, their autonomy, and their dignity.
I will not allow ego, hierarchy, or systems to silence my empathy or compromise my integrity.
I vow to serve especially those who are overlooked or underserved,
remembering always that the greatest need often lies where there is the least access.
I will ask for help when I need it, admit when I do not know, and never stop striving to learn,
for my patients’ sake and my own.
Above all, I will remain true to the reason I started this journey: to never take for granted
the blessing of being able to walk beside my patients through their toughest battles and be present for their triumphs.
God in all things, all we do in God.
